Players regularly report 60 FPS on mid-range hardware even with most effects on. On a GTX 1650, one YouTube test showed steady 60 FPS at 1080p. Even on weaker Intel integrated graphics, the Low preset keeps things playable.
You can easily turn down reflections or bloom if you need extra FPS. Overall, it’s smoother and more stable than older versions of similar shaders, and it rarely causes lag spikes during exploration or building.

How to Install Bliss Shaders
Using IRIS (Fabric)
1. Download and install Iris Shaders from irisshaders.dev (best performance).
2. Download the latest Bliss Shaders from Modrinth, CurseForge – do NOT unzip it.
3. Open Minecraft → Options → Video Settings → Shaders → Open Shaderpacks Folder.
4. Drop the .zip inside and select “Bliss” in the menu.
Using Optifine
1. Download and install OptiFine
2. Download Bliss Shaders
3. Move the .zip to your .minecraft/shaderpacks folder
4. Open Minecraft > Video Settings > Shaders > Select “Bliss Shaders”
